OceanJet opens Tagbilaran–Lazi–Plaridel fast craft route

OceanJet (Ocean Fast Transport, Inc.), one of the Philippines' main high-speed passenger operators, is launching a new daily fast craft route linking Tagbilaran in Bohol, Lazi in Siquijor and Plaridel in Misamis Occidental, starting 23 October 2026. The service runs in both directions and connects Central Visayas with Northern Mindanao. OceanJet says it wants to support regional tourism, trade and mobility, and that the route will cut journey times compared with traditional sea options. Bookings and fares had not been released when the announcement was made; they will be published through OceanJet's ticket counters, travel partners and online channels.
